Watch Out!

Bet you wouldn't want to bump into this on a dark night! All padded up and ready for kumite (not sure about spelling) but it means ... one on one combat. Who's up for a challenge?

Garden Show

Late Saturday afternoon we headed off to the Ellerslie Garden Show with Jenny and Reece. Everyone had a great time. The food tent was a hit with the boys, and the gardens were pretty well received too.

The Trumpeter

We now have a band member in the house. Tim started the trumpet last week, he's got his lips sorted and is getting a good sound. Band practice goes from 8 - 9am every Wednesday and then he has a 30 min lesson later in the day. He's loving it. Yoda's not so keen on trumpet practice at home.

The mazing mazing maze

Today I rearranged the guinea pigs play area. Now they have a labyrinth leading to a dream area filled with hay. When were on the trampoline Thea and Jordie were scuttling around like crazy biting each other's bottoms. Thea was jumping over bricks to avoid Jordie's snapping jaws on her rear end. We thought they were just playing but it looked really serious. When we came up close they stopped it straight away and started staring at us.
